Family portion of nuptul celebration

$200 for 35 people

Rough breakdown:

Venue: Free with minimum count of 30 people

Photographer: Free from a very dear and talented friend

Custom cake: Free from step mom

Custom Cake Toppers from Etsy: $45, paid for as wedding gift

For the kids who think the free cake must have sucked:

It’s my rendition of Rampage: secret cake level

Wait what the hell did we spend money on?!?!?

$10- New tie, will be worn again for photo shoot next week with friends

$10- Staff (AKA:Team Awesome) booze

$10- Gas

$35- Case of cider for toasting

$120- Dinner for me, wife, Mom, Dad, Grandma, and Staff

<$200: DONE

We asked most guests to buy their own dinner at the restaurant, at $10-15 per plate. It's a cafeteria style set up, so anyone arriving late was able to just get there food and join. We didn't register and instead asked folks to help contribute to our honeymoon in Hawaii.

Next week: PARTY!!!

Okay.  I'm the cranky, old great aunt.  I'd rather go to a receiption with tea and cupcakes rather than have to pay for my own cafeteria meal.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
