I wrote my first steemit article.  Unfortunately it doesn't look like anyone is reading it.  https://steemit.com/wageslavery/@mikjak/selling-your-body-for-profit

I think I need to figure out how to add a photo

I'm assuming you're looking for feedback?

Assuming so:
1) The piece needs some heavy editing and a spell check run on it.  That may be hanging up the people who do read it from sharing it.

2) The content isn't novel. If you told me the topic of the article, I'd come up with the same list as your headers. If there's nothing new in it, why would people want to share it?

Try to think outside the box, and then present a cleanly edited, unique piece of writing.

Congrats on getting started, practice is the way to improvement!  Good luck!

Photo, formatting... it's a wall-o-text right now, and I'll be honest - I didn't read most of it.

Your section headers blend into the previous section, and zero newlines between paragraphs makes it hard to read.

Compare your post, visually, to one of the current top posts: https://steemit.com/movie-review/@hanshotfirst/a-geeky-dad-s-movie-guide-to-rogue-one-a-star-wars-story

Also... you're not particularly funny, though you seem to think you are.  It'd be a stronger article without the weak attempts at humor tossed in.

"Wow, this is my first article, so, uh, hopefully I post more!" up at the top doesn't help the case either.  It sets an expectation that it's a new writer, and the article delivers...
