I make money on my cell phone bill.
« on: August 22, 2015, 10:15:43 AM »
Hello everyone as this is my first post after joining.
My bill is around $185 every month, and I get paid $240.
I have T-mobile service and you can have up to 10 lines on your family plan. 2 lines for me and my wife + 8 additional lines.
I got some of my brothers and sisters and a couple of friends to be on my plan and they all paid me $30/month x8 = $240.
Its basically $100 for the first 4 lines and $10/each additional line. Comes to $160- 10% discount + taxes(lots of) = $185 each month.
No complaint on T-mobile service. I live in Orlando and the speed is fantastic.
Everyone is happy because they would have to pay more if they were on their own.
I encourage everyone to do this if you want to lower your cell phone bill.

How long have you been doing this? Have at least one of the 8 people ever paid late?

Actually never.
6 lines belong to family members and the other 2 from friends.
They all usually paid me 6 months at a time.
Not getting paid isn't an issue because I can cancel the line anytime as its contract free.

Just thought I'd point the following out for consideration of anyone thinking to reproduce what Golfreak12 is claiming to do.

From the T-Mobile Terms & Conditions:
18. * Misuse of Service or Device. By activating or renewing Service with T-Mobile, you agree that you do so because you want Service from T-Mobile and not for any other purposes. You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; (b) using the Service or Device to engage in unlawful activity, or in conduct that adversely affects our customers, employees, business, or any other person(s), or that interferes with our operations, network, reputation, or ability to provide quality service, including, but not limited to, the generation or dissemination of viruses, malware or "denial of service" attacks; (c) using the Service as a substitute or backup for private lines or dedicated data connections; (d) tampering with or modifying your T-Mobile Device; (e) "spamming" or engaging in other abusive or unsolicited communications, or any other mass, automated voice or data communication for commercial or marketing purposes; (f) reselling T-Mobile Devices for profit, or tampering with, reprogramming or altering T-Mobile Devices for the purpose of reselling the T-Mobile Device; (g) using the Service in connection with server devices or host computer applications; (h) using applications which automatically consume unreasonable amounts of available network capacity; (i) using applications which are designed for unattended use, automatic data feeds, automated machine-to-machine connections, or applications that are used in a way that degrades network capacity or functionality; or (j) assisting or facilitating anyone else in any of the above activities. Unless authorized by T-Mobile, you agree that you won't install, deploy, or use any regeneration equipment or similar mechanism (for example, a repeater or signal booster) to originate, amplify, enhance, retransmit or regenerate a transmitted RF signal and, unless authorized by T-Mobile, you agree that you will not use a telephone number on the T-Mobile network for any purpose but for access to the public switched telephone network. You agree that a violation of this section harms T-Mobile, which cannot be fully redressed by money damages, and that T-Mobile shall be entitled to immediate injunctive relief in addition to all other remedies available.

...and the T-Mobile Website Terms of Use:
Prohibited Uses. You agree not to:

•use the Site or its contents for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms of Use;
•resell any aspect of the Site or services available on it;
•bypass or circumvent measures we may use to prevent, interfere, or limit access to the Site or any T-Mobile network;
•use the Site to send altered, deceptive or false source-identifying information;
•use the Site to intercept, collect or store personal information about other users;
•spam other users or take other actions that may affect the operation or enjoyment of the Site by other users;
•access, monitor or copy any content or information on the Site using any robot, spider, scraper or other automated means or any manual process;
•decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer any of the software or content used in any part of the Site or any T-Mobile network;
•send a virus or use any malicious programs or techniques in connection with the Site;
•overload or crash the Site or any T-Mobile server or network; or
•engage in excessively high volume data transfers or bandwidth use, including without limitation by hosting a web server, internet relay chat server or any other server via any use of the Site; or
•infringe the copyrights or intellectual property rights of others.

What has been suggested is clearly a violation of the legal contracts T-Mobile customers are bound to when they purchase any form of retail service from them. Always read these contracts, and understand what you're doing if you follow advice of this nature.
