Just thought I'd share a small victory with you guys.
My promotional period with my internet service provider was about to expire at the end of this month, and my bill was set to jump from $33.88/month to $74.99/month for 40 Mbps internet. After a brief conversation with their loyalty department, they were able to guarantee me $20.94/month for a 1 year contract at the same speeds. That's a savings of $54.05 a month, or $648.70 a year for the same service, and all it took was a few minutes of my time. It pays to negotiate!
