In 2017, I posted this:

It was when our household net worth hit $100K. For us, it took six years to get there from $0. Many who responded to that post said that it would be even easier to get to the next $100k, and you know what? They (you!) were right! Just a little over two years later, we're at $200K household net worth. $110K is in Vanguard funds. The rest is home equity.
I'm loving how quickly I'm able to build my stash thanks to compounding and what not. Still, I know that one of these days our NW will likely decrease due to a market downturn. I'm fully aware that part of our success is being fortunate enough to have been working grownups sans student loans between 2010 and today who were also able to own stocks during a bull market.
Regardless, it feels pretty good.
