It's Costco Amex rebate time, and here's a little Mustachian tip: If you use your check to pay for purchases, you will be leaving money on the table, because you won't get the Amex rebate on that purchase. Instead, CASH the check, put the money in your wallet and continue charging as usual. You can cash it at the checkstand as you make your purchases, or at Member Services. During this busy rebate time, there may even be a special checkstand open for the express purpose of cashing these checks. It's perfectly okay to do this, just make sure you don't blow your new green soldiers on stupid shiny stuff. And yes, I know the Amex is going away, but its execution has been postponed. It's likely the policy will be the same when they switch to Visa. You're welcome:-)
