Ditching the commute and the unhappiness
« on: June 16, 2015, 08:53:34 PM »
I've been working from home for years, while watching my husband trudge off to a job where he wasn't appreciated OR paid well, and had a 30 minute commute to work.

It's a pleasure now to see his truck parked in the driveway all day, as he builds the first brewery/brewpub in our small Colorado town (Evergreen).  Parked here because "work" is roughly a third of a mile's walk from home, he'll be doing what he loves, and we're both building tighter bonds with our community and neighborhood in the process.  Some days I have trouble believing it.  Pop on by Lariat Lodge Brewing Co. in September, y'all, if you're in the area, and meet a couple of fellow mustachians!

Very cool!  Please post a pic of the finished building when completed so we can see the result of his efforts (we like microbrew.  :)
