Cheap Polarized Sunglasses

http://www.sunglasswarehouse.com/

Slightly less cheap, slightly better quality: http://knockaround.com/

I've purchased from both spots, and been happy with what I paid and what I received.

Wow! Thanks for these suggestions. I have bought polarized at REI, not even the high end brand name and I end up paying twice that.

I'm disappointed these aren't cheaper than that.  I've had a $20 limit on sunglass for years, and once a year I can get them for half that at the county fair.  Otherwise $20 is about right for decent polarized glasses from a big box type store.  Usually in the sporting goods section near the fishing supplies.

I got a pair from sunglasswarehouse that was on sale for $10... I thought that was pretty decent! And I was using my weak Canadian dollar! ;)

I searched high and low for the cheapest (still decent-ish) sunglasses when my husband wanted polarized ones for xmas and I couldn't blow the budget with a $300 face-punch pair... :D

four years ago (or was it five?) I bought a box of a dozen polarized sunglasses from

http://www.ctswholesalesunglasses.com/polarized-sunglasses/

$40 or so for 12 pair.  Put a pair in the car. Another in my backpack. Gave away a pair to BIL and DS.
May have sat on a pair or left a pair on a beach in Jamaica or lost one in the waves.

And I still have two pair left. Maybe more in DW's purse or at FIL's house.

Then my son bought a box of Aviators from the same site and gifted me a pair or two.  So I'm over-sunglassed now.  And I'm out a total of less than ten bucks a year.

And no worries about losing or breaking expensive stuff.

I got a nice pair of polarized aviators at Costco for $26.00.  They're Costco's in-house Kirkland brand and they were right next to the $120 Ray-Bans.  They looked pretty much the same except for the logo.  They work great.

I picked up a pair at Walmart before a fly fishing trip for $3.  They are lightweight and I can hardly tell I have them on.  Really like them.  That being said, they'll end up floating down a river very soon I'm sure.

I got a pair of Bolle polarized ones on amazon after borrowing some from a friend (family keeps some of them on the boat as semi-cheap glasses w/ floating lanyards).

These are the best sunglasses I've ever worn - I think I paid in the ~$40-$50 range, but it's honestly a disappointment when I take them off and have to see the real world again.  mine have a tortoise frame with gold reflective lenses.

I caved a year ago and bought a pair for $50. (The same ones can probably be found for $20.) I was about to drive 10k miles and needed more comfortable sunglasses with proper polarization and UV protection. Can't really regret it, but if they break / get lost, I will take the time to properly research equal or higher quality at a much lower price.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
