So, my one year of CenturyLink high speed internet rate was up, meaning it would go from $49.99 to a $85!!! Of course I called before that happened and they gave me the same rate (after a lot of heartache of course.) However, somehow I still got billed $85. I called again and told them I was ready to cancel out my service completely. They then put me on with customer loyalty (retention folks) who gave me the same service I had for another 12 months for $35/month! Win.
