I biked my 30,000th mile to and from work today.
Life is good!

Wow, that's awesome! How far is your commute each way? How many sets of tires have you burned through at that distance?
-
Well done, that's definitely a milestone. After reading the title I was going to comment that MMM would suggest that you moved closer to work if you had to bike 30,000 miles to get to work.
-
How many years of commuting does that cover?
30,000 miles
Assume working every single day that's not a weekend we get 365 - (2*52)
So, 115 miles a day if you've been commuting for one year.
11.5 miles a day if you've been commuting for a decade.
5.7 miles a day if you've been commuting for twenty years.

Badass!!
Iv'e been biking for 15yrs, guesstimate average 220days/yr on the bike, 15mi r/t... so working on 50k. Work used to pay me for it but took that nice little bennie away :(

Used to bike 18 miles r/t 5 days a week, then moved a bit closer so 13 miles r/t, now there's no biking option (too far) - so I just do leisure trips once a week... Beer gut is back :(
