New Job!

I've been on the forums for 4 years now and being a dink with two good incomes saving 50-60% was never really a challenge with our lifestyle.

I currently commute 18 miles each way and it was the worst part of my job. 

So with the new job I will be earning 18% more and my commute is 3 miles!

Mustachian score!

New job will also be interesting and a good fit for my skills.  So the commute wasn't the only reason I left, but it was definitely a consideration when selecting jobs to apply for.  I'm looking forward to my new position and the hours of my day that I will be getting back.

Haha very true!  I'm definitely going to give it a go a few times before winter hits.  The new job has a gym and a locker room with showers so that's a nice bonus.

I'll have to look at purchasing a new bike or at least new tires for winter riding.  Currently I have road bike with skinny tires, not the best for Minnesota winters.
