I have a question not related to sign up bonuses. I'm trying to transfer over 10K from my wells fargo to sofi checking account. I linked the accounts and tried to make a push transfer from WF. The limit is 5K per transfer and 6k per month, so i only transfered 5K. If i make a "pull" transfer from WF to sofi for another 6-8K, will that also count towards that total transfer limit, perhaps resulting in that transfer being declined?

I'll answer my own question: yes. I did a push transfer from WF to SoFI, then a couple of days later did a pull transfer. The total amount was much higher than the push transfer limit that WF has but both transfers went though.

I got overwhelmed and my paper pile was too high, so I missed out on one really easy bonus that expired-- Wells Fargo $325 for just a $1000 deposit.  But I did sneak in under the deadline for a Key Bank one.  $800 for 10k deposit for 60 days, plus an additional $400 if you keep the money there for a year.  That's a 12% return!  And they don't even require that you set up direct deposits (real or fake).  Good place to stick an emergency fund or other random cash.  Moving money from the Chase account that I got the $900 bonus from and then I'll close out the Chase account.

@lhamo that Wells Fargo bonus is still available, until January 7th.

New Year, new bank account churning opportunities. . .

For new Laurel Road customers, there is a $200 bonus on the High Yield Savings Account, currently paying 4.15% APY following recent Fed rate cuts.

Offer expires 01/10/2025.  Per Doctor of Credit, an account balance of $5,000 is required only on Day 90 following account opening to qualify for the $200 bonus.

I'm reading this one: "Must deposit a minimum of $1 within the first 20 days and must have the relevant tiered account balance on the 90th day. See below for full terms and conditions."  So on day 89 put in $30K and day 91 withdraw it and get $200 by check in 60 days?  Sounds too good to be true.

Does anyone on this thread have a Pepper Rewards App referral code?

I got an AmEx Offer for $30 off a $75 Pepper purchase, so I figure I'll probably sign up and check it out.

[I suppose this is more of a credit card thing, but this thread is decently active and veers into CCs sometimes.]

@NotJen
I do. I use it mainly for the $1 CC balance forgiveness after Amazon upped their minimum reload to $5. Comes in handy.
My referral code is 605343. If you do use it I very much appreciate it!

Oh shit!  I didn't even think about using it for that.  Using your code to sign up now.

ETA:  This just made my day - it looks like I can build up a Regal balance to get free movies on discount Tuesdays!

Thank you! I just looked this morning and see the same Amex offer for Pepper. Glad you said something. Good deal!

Edit to add, found the Pepper deal on my Spouse's Amex card as well. Been holding out signing her up but good timing as I'm in the middle of a renovation. 10% back on first $200 is a good discount.

The $30 AmEx credit posted THE SAME DAY for this.  Unheard of!

Warning - not all gift cards can be purchased for $1 - the min for Regal is $5 (which will still be useful) - but hoping Target stays at $1 because I will use that more than Amazon gift cards.  I was planning to get the app anyway because I just got a USB Triple Cash, so the timing of this deal is pretty handy.

And, it sounds like they'll only pay out if you were targeted:
