I've not tried this device, but I'm having solar power installed on my house, and it sparked a conversation with a neighbor, who told me about this, and I thought I'd share.  For anyone who has the option of using a rate tariff with their utility company that charges for peak demand, this device will cap your peak demand by cycling power between your Ac, your water heater, and your dryer.  I wish I had known about sooner...

It seems cool.  However, I'm always suspicious of mixing high voltages with low voltage dc electronics.  It's very common to have logic boards blow or have overheating.  Simpler is generally better, IMO.

...but that is without any knowledge of this product.  It might be absolutely fine.  It's just something to look out for.
