Thanks, Happy. I dropped off completely --I was flying to another state to consult with a well known neurosurgeon and had several more procedures/surgeries (performed locally, thank goodness). I hopefully "only" have one more big one to go, but that one will be a beast. Probably will take me a year to recover.

Hey KKB! I was in London from May-August last year, came home to do a Master's degree, and I'll be moving back over in August. I don't think I changed my location as soon as I was back though...

Good question.  Life has been too hectic to follow up on updating the forums on what's going on, but I keep intending to!  :)

Also, I lol'd at your question of "what a typical day looks like."  I'd bet this is hilarious to almost anyone who's FIRE'd (or at least recently FIRE'd).  I also thought there would be a routine/typical day.  Not at all.  But I will try to share more soon about what some of our days have been like.

I'm actually typing this on a computer!

I've been on my phone for the last 3 weeks, as my computer wouldn't boot one day, and AppleCare doesn't do you much good in Split, Croatia, where there is no Apple stores.  ;)

Luckily Zagreb had one, and I just got it back (though it's making loud noises and the charger is finicky, which it never was before, so they did a poor job, and I'll probably have to take it into a repair store in Istanbul next week).

But no computer has been my excuse for not starting a blog.

The wife does have about a dozen draft posts done.  :)
