And Suddenly Beethoven Filled the House

Just finished hooking up my $8.00 from Goodwill CD player.  It works perfectly.  God, I feel smug.

"I despise a world which does not feel that music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy" -- L.V.Beethoven

I'm sure he would approve your smugness. :)

So good!   Sometimes I think we enjoy things even more knowing we got a good deal on them, right?   Enjoy!

I like most kinds of music, the exceptions being country, gospel, and death metal. But the older I get, the better Beethoven, Bach, and Mozart sounds.

The CD player has developed a buzz.  Going to take it apart and see if I can make it happy.  Feeling less smug but more interested.  Now that I have heard how good it sounds I must have a CD player and I would like it to be this one.

I definitely find this to be the case.

Concluded that the TEAC CD player is beyond my abilities so will return it Saturday when we go past that Goodwill Store.  In the mean time, I stopped at the Goodwill right in my neighborhood and picked up an old Kenwood.  Beethoven is once more heard in the house.  Kenwood doesn't sound as good as the TEAC did but I can live with it until I find the something better.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
