5 year college Reunion
« on: May 17, 2018, 01:22:28 PM »
5 years ago today I graduated college (with about $12k of debt).
Today I have a $150k net worth. (Actually a bit more because I have a pension from my old firm and some "hiding" stock from my new company that I get to call my own in a month.)

Anyway,
150k / 5 years = 30k year

So I guess I've averaged about $30k per year, net, since graduating from school, which sounds pretty cool.
Not nearly as much as some I'm sure, but also something to be proud of and thankful for.
Especially given all the cool stuff I've gotten to do and see in that time with the money I did spend.

Peace!

Thanks for the support/congrats!

It's worth mentioning that this forum and mmm's blog itself has been super helpful to say the least...More so in the reinforcement and encouragement  of  a "mindset" (less is more, be thankful for what you already have, place value on learning/fixing things yourself and not outsourcing) than in the little tips and tricks we may pick up here and there.

If you're here for tips and tricks and think it's going to make some significant affect on your life then you're going to be let down.
