Congrats!  I also had a little wealth spike yesterday, but not because of the general market.

401ks seem to grow so slowly don't they?   That pesky $18k/yr personal contribution limitation.

I wonder about splits.  I currently have about 30% of my 401k in a Roth type.  I second guess myself regularly on how I should allocate between Roth and Traditional inside my overall 401k.

I'm thinking enough to ensure I'm below an AGI cutoff for tax purposes, but beyond that?

started my job may 2010... was saving pretty well but not maxing it.  started maxing in 2014. so 3.5 years around 9k going in the 3 years of 18k going in ... but that 9k per year was all roth.  so could have been 12k ... wife is about to hit 100k in hers as well started jan 2011.  - her company matches more - i get private stock in a seperate account at mine.  all 3 accounts will hit 100k by mid Dec. most likely

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
