Can't wait to do the same myself... I'm only a 0.003 millionaire.
You need a set of intermediate goals, like getting the 401k/IRA to six figures, doing the same with your personal investments, etc.
Awesome! Depending on the state of my 401k today I may or may not be there with you (no worries there... that money has a long ride in the market ahead of it). I keep going back to MMM's "A Brief History of the ‘Stash: How we Saved from Zero to Retirement in Nine Years." While I don't think 9 years is going to get me there I always like to look at MMM's numbers and plot my position on his old map. http://www.mrmoneymustache.com/2011/09/15/a-brief-history-of-the-stash-how-we-saved-from-zero-to-retirement-in-ten-years/
Congrats! The first $100k is by far the hardest to save, as you now have a growing "tailwind" of investment earnings pushing you along toward FI.
Congratulations! It must feel awesome to hit that milestone. Can't wait to do the same myself... I'm only a 0.003 millionaire. *sigh* at least it's still progress compared to my recent -10k net worth.
You and dahlink are both extremely badass. In a sense, going from negative to positive is the most significant milestone.
