I understand the "not sure I believe it" part. To me it's a spectrum anyway, stocks at record highs, etc. Of course 25x is a pretty good jumping off point, so have at it. Best wishes!!

Did you already shift to bond tent mode, or is that still to come?

We have been shifting to more bonds over the past year. My husband did the last adjustment and claims we are now at our target. I haven’t verified because it is tedious. :) But to answer your question: yes. That does make us slightly less nervous about a crash or US stock valuations or whatever else people choose to fret about.

We are 60% stock, of which 60% is VTSAX and the rest international.

Wow. When I was planning out the last few years to the finish line I was estimating either  brute force (no market gains) or something like 3%. 7% seems so optimistic on a short time frame like 3 years.
