Folks, I have a rental property in California that is managed via a property manager. The property manager signed the lease with the tenant for one year and since it has been year, the property is on month-to-month (per lease agreement). My agreement/contract with the property manager is also month-to-month now.
I would like to manage the property directly thus avoiding the few hundred dollars being charged by the property manager. I would imagine that I would need to draw a new lease agreement with the tenant. Can you please share more details as to what all I need to do?
