I've never liked the floors in our house. Whatever they have used to deal the floors has come up in thittlensharp shards over the years. I would like to paint the floors white or have new flooring on top in a very light wood (fake is fine if it looks decent), has anyone done either recently and have any thoughts? Seems like painting would be cheaper and I love the look in Swedish homes.
