Moving to Vegas
« on: November 11, 2016, 02:44:06 AM »
Work is taking me from Italy to Vegas next October. I will be there for a minimum of 3 years. My wife and I are looking to rent and I am here seeking any tips.

A few details..
Rent budget is $1350.00 but would prefer to be around $1000 per month. This is rent alone and does not include utilities.
Looking through other forums and speaking with friends, we have determined we would like to live in North Las Vegas around the Alliante and Centennial Hills area (these seem to be the closest and safest to our work).
Seeking at least a 2br/2bath, garage, medium sized yard, in a gated community, and prefer but not require a community pool.

If anyone has experience with living in Vegas, or if any of you are looking to rent your homes to a fellow Mustachian, I would appreciate any and all information.

You shouldn't have a problem finding a 2br with all those amenities in that location for that price.

I'm all full up now, but contact me in about 8-9 months when you're looking at places.  :)
I am a former teacher who accumulated a bunch of real estate, retired at 29, spent some time traveling the world full time and am now settled with three kids.
If you want to know more about me, this Business Insider profile tells the story pretty well.
I (rarely) blog at AdventuringAlong.com. Check out the Now page to see what I'm up to currently.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
