Hello all,
I currently own a Single family house in Queens, NY and am considering moving to Long Island next year for better schools for my kids. I still have about a decade left on the mortgage but I really like the location and would like to keep the property if possible. The rental income would be able to cover the mortgage plus a few hundred dollars more but I have heard horror stories about tenants and eviction processes and wanted to see if anyone on MMM could share their experiences with me. This would be my first time being a landlord so any advice would be appreciated.
