Has anyone here gotten a detached garage build financed in with their home purchase? I'm looking at some houses that are pretty inexpensive on the outskirts of town, but unless they're new builds (aka, not inexpensive), they don't have garages. My current place doesn't have one and I hate it, so the next house has to have one. A basic 2-car garage build on a flat piece of property is ~$20k. I know a 203k wont cover a detached garage, are there other options?
