Hello All,
In my property (NY) there is a retaining wall. Due to Hurricane Ida, it fell down and costs $15,000 to $20,000 to fix it. Currently, My home is not in Flood Zone.
1) If i apply for FEMA Disaster Assistance, My home will be listed in Flood Zone ?
2) Applying for FEMA Disaster Assistance will make records go public and it will impact my home price while selling ? (I am planning to sell in 3 to 5 years from now )
Tried contacting my Home Insurance but they are not responsive.
