Leave comments on real estate listing?
« on: March 04, 2018, 01:12:13 PM »
Something I think is missing with online real estate listing websites is the ability to leave comments for other house shoppers after you've visited the property or done some research about it.  For example, one might comment after visiting a property that the photos are misleading, the price is too high for the market, etc... I recognize that most websites are there to sell houses and therefore wouldn't want to allow comments because it might discourage potential buyers.  Just seems a little seller-centric.  Just a little rant.

Funny thing I've noticed missing from US real estate listings is the lack of a floor plan, which seems incomprehensible to me.  All the UK listings (eg Rightmove) include one.  It would be much more useful than a public comment section.

I like that idea.  Some listings show this, some even have a video walk through.  Should be standard though.

Minnesota's system does that, and has for 6 years at least.

It was somewhat nice, but somewhat infuriating because 95% of the comments were things that are unchangeable or obvious from the listing.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
