Hi Muctachians!
I'm just at that awkward amount of savings where I have almost enough to purchase a property.
I'd love to have one back in Ireland where I'm from as it's heavily visited by tourists year-round. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with investing in rental property abroad?
My accountant warned me that I'll have to pay some of the income to Uncle Same, regardless of location.
Although it's more convoluted, I think it could be a good diverse investment and the tourism industry goes from strength to strength!
Happy Friday! Thanks for being awesome!

If you need a mortgage, it could be tricky. If you don't, just make sure you do your research on the tax situation.
