Mustachians familiar with Arcadia/Temple City, CA - rent or own?

I would like to live in the San Gabriel Valley (SGV) region of California, but am having a hard time deciding whether to rent or own.

Those of you familiar with the area, any thoughts about living here? Kind of anti-Mustachian?
