Weight Loss / Health

Myself and my family have had great success after reading and implementing Wheat Belly by Dr. Davis, and also watching Fat Head:The Director's Cut.

Just by changing my diet I was able to lose 35 lbs in about 6 months.  That is *WITHOUT* exercise, not bad for being sedentary and 35y/o.  There were no gimmicks, no supplements, no workout routines, no gym memberships, no HIITS, no bicycling (just joined the Mustachian Army so I have started).

Going to hop on my soapbox for just a moment here.  If you have diabetes, are prediabetic, have heart issues, nephrotic syndrome, skin issues, inflammation, or any other malady that science just can't seem to fix, I highly suggest taking a look.

In true Mustachian fashion, you could get the book from the library for free.  For FatHead, the original version is free on youtube.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evcNPfZlrZs

I did eventually purchase both from the creators because they had really punched me in the face with reason and for less than $35 I have accomplished so much and helped so many people that I wanted to support them.

bye-bye Ms. FancyPants

Great to hear! I just picked up a copy of wheat belly from my local thrift shop for $3! I have quite a long list of books to go through but I might bump up wheat belly a few spots!

Do bump it Resy!  Also try to locate Grain Brain by Dr. Perlmutter.  I too have lost 35ish pounds w/giving up breads and carbs.  Also not the best exerciser in the world.  I do walk regularly in the spring/summer/fall seasons, not so much in the winter.
