We don't have Trader Joe's in Hawaii, and my husband is traveling for work to a hotel right next to a Trader Joe's. Fabulous opportunity to stock up. What are your favorites that I should tell him to bring back for us? Glass containers are ok, cheese or other products that can survive for a while without refrigeration also are great. Sadly, frozen treats aren't a great option for our situation, but feel free to share your favorites for the sake of others on the thread.

A staple for me is the plain Trader Joe Pound Plus Dark Chocolate Bar. Not sure what the percentage of dark chocolate it is, but it's pretty good and at a decent price. I don't have one near and have someone get me several to eat a small piece at a time, so it lasts me months.

We buy all of our coffee at trader Joe's, although you probably have better options in Hawaii.  I love their tea tree body wash and the coconut body butter.  I also can't walk out of there without the chai or green tea mints.  I can't eat it anymore, but I used to drive an hour to get cookie butter in my pre MMM days.

Their bruschetta topping and falafel mix are favorites. I think the falafel mix is sadly being phased out but if it’s there, grab it. Also the “everything but the bagel” seasoning

That was on my list! It's fabulous for baking. Thanks!

Hawaii coffee is amazing but way too expensive for everyday. Good thought on the Trader Joe's coffe. I'll put their coffee on the list--it's probably good value. Cookie butter is amazing but we also can't have it in the house.

I can get EBTB at Costco now, but we do love it. I'll put the bruschetta and falafel on the list! Thanks!

Chicken Shawarma.  It's the bomb.

Edit:  Oops, didn't see the non-perishables.  Still the bomb though.

Dark chocolate peanut butter cups, high quality birthday and other occasion cards for $1.00 (I won't buy cards anywhere else anymore), pump bottle of hand and body cream, sunscreen in a tube, shaving cream in a tube.  They have nice quality scented candles in tins for cheap money if you like scented candles.

1.Everything bagel seasoning
2.Ajika Georgian seasoning blend
3.Furikake (my kids like tjs version better than what we can find at local Asian market)
4.Dijon mustard (I think tjs version is a better emulsifier for salad dressing compared to other brands)
5.Olive snack packs, (a treat for one of my kiddos)
6.Saffron (it’s cheap at tjs)

Wasn't that bar one of the ones that consumer reports found elevated lead levels in?

I love Trader Joe's :-)

Cheese:
  • Atalanta Halloumi - amazing when grilled
  • Pecorino Romano Raw Sheep's Milk Cheese wedge - shave cheese on salad
  • Manchego Cheese wedge - delicious with anything
  • Cranberry Chévre goat cheese log - yummy with crackers but not everyone's favorite
  • Marinated Fresh Mozzarella Cheese - save the oil for later for bruschetta

Snacks & Sweets
  • The Crispy Crunchy Mochi Rice Nuggets
  • Marinated Olive Duo with Lemon and Herbs - vacuum sealed
  • Slightly Coated Dark Chocolate Almonds
  • Dark Chocolate Bark with Almond, Pretzel & Sea Salt

Seasoning
  • Masala Simmer Sauce - add on any pan of vegetable
  • Chile Lime Seasoning Blend - I add it on avocados or on the TJ Southwestern Chopped Salad Kit
