Title: October in Cuenca
Post by: jamaicaspanish on September 09, 2017, 08:49:36 AM
DW and I are spending October in Cuenca, and we're looking for recommendations re: housing, social gatherings, day trips, etc.
We have done a ton of research already, but it's all been online. So we're asking fellow mustachians who are (or have been) in Cuenca for their first-hand advice.
TIA for your input.

Posting to follow since Cuenca is on my list of travel destinations.

If I were staying a month (or even just a week or two), I'd
consider AirBnb.  Good luck in your travels!

My wife and I spent 5 weeks in Cuenca in early 2016. One of our best experiences was at http://www.joessecretgarden.com/  It's a restaurant but the experience is like a large dinner party at a friend's house. We really enjoyed the food and socialization there. I think they are only open on Saturdays for dinner. You'll need reservations. Have fun!
