Title: NXR gas ranges? Seem like the perfect combo of longevity and decent price
Post by: J Boogie on February 09, 2016, 10:29:21 AM
I'm almost already sold on this - just wanted to see if anyone else is familiar with this brand.

Apparently they keep costs down by skipping the consumer-oriented details (LCD screens, timers, etc) and having their quality parts (such as German burners) shipped to China for final assembly.

And they are supposed to last 20-30 years, which is about double the average lifespan of most major appliances these days.

Does anyone have any experience with NXR? They're sold at Costco and a few other places.
