Norwex

I started using Norwex a couple of years ago and absolutely love their products. You can purchase their into pack for $30, which sounds expensive for 2 cleaning cloths but you will never have to use a cleanser again. You can clean anything using water only, including mopping the floor. Seriously, you can take paint off the wall with this cloth, but never scratch your glass or chrome fixtures.

I bought a washcloth and towel to take backpacking because
A) you don't need soap
B) the antimicrobial cloth disinfects itself so they never get stinky
B) they dry very quickly.

Great qualities for backpacking but also for every day mustachian living.

I've been gradually buying more of their products because the amazing quality. Recently started using their laundry products and they are wonderful too.

These are bold claims.  No cleaning chemicals necessary, even for grease?  And it rinses clean with just water?

I want to get these as shop rags if it's true.

One of the demonstrations they do at Norwex home parties is to smear a stick of butter onto a window, then clean one half with windex and paper towels. Then they clean the other half with an 1 damp antibac cloth and 1 dry glass cloth. It's dramatic because you need to go over it many times with the paper towels and windex, but it's pretty much one swipe with the Norwex cloths.

I would throw them in the laundry after a greasy clean up though.

If you just want to use them for shop cloths, I would buy a 12-pack of microfiber cloths at Sam's Club or Costco. They are not antibacterial, but they clean almost as well and they are much cheaper. That's what I use when I don't need the antibac properties.

I am intrigued.  So the primary benefit with these cloths, as opposed to the cheaper microfiber ones, is the anti-bacterial properties?  Or is there more to it?

I buy the cheaper microfiber cloths for general cleaning and use the Norwex cloths when the antibac properties are valuable. My camping towel is a perfect example, and the kitchen towel is wonderful too. They never get that awful mildew smell about them that is so common to normal towels under those circumstances.

I keep a Norwex cloth in the bathroom for daily wipe-ups and rarely need bathroom cleanser anymore. I have a bottle of glass cleaner but I never use it anymore, the Norwex glass cloth gets the window much cleaner with water alone.

I use their personal washcloth on my face every night without cleanser, and I have gotten more compliments about my skin in the last year than I ever have before. I've never had severe acne, but I've spoken with women who swear using the Norwex cloth has cleared up their bad acne better than any cleanser or cream. It certainly does a fine job of removing makeup.

I also really appreciate the lens cloth. I have very sensitive eyes and have to keep my glasses clean to avoid conjunctivitis. The antibac lens cloth stays germ free in my purse and polishes up my glasses nicely.

I bought a small bag of their concentrated laundry detergent on "Black Friday" at a 40% discount. I expect this bag to last me until next Thanksgiving, since I only use a teaspoon per load.

And the best part is that no one is pressuring me to have a Norwex party or become a distributor. I know 2 women who sell Norwex products and I buy what I need when I need it, no pressure or commitment required.

Parizade – I see you’re from MN.  I thought I was the only one!  Regarding Norwex…  My wife is addicted to this.  Many of the products are a bit on the expensive side but they do a great job.
