All,

I'm not sure how long the Jet.com gravy train will last, but for now they are offering cut-rate staples of just about everything and a free one-year membership (use promo code: Bain0721C). Protips: The headline price is the lowest available price on the web, and the "amount saved" is how much additional discount jet.com is offering. You can get even more savings by putting multiple items in your basket because the price calculator dynamically adjusts based on shipping efficiencies.

See the articles below for some background:

Briefly looking at the prices of some house hold goods (toilet paper, detergent, non-perishable foods) and other things I have recently purchased elsewhere, they don't seem to have especially good prices. Is there something in particular jet has really good deals on?

BTW, code tenbucksnow saves you $10 on $35 purchase.

Oops, somehow I missed the first post with the articles. So this is how I found it so far:

I'm finding it confusing even with watching the video.  They have the button to click to compare the price on Amazon, so far they were the same except Jet was $7 higher on a walker.  But then Jet takes $14 off your total, so it's actually cheaper.  But I don't get why there are so many ways to save, well, I'm sure it's so they can make more money, yet to me it's needlessly confusing.  And if I take one thing out of my cart and the prices start changing, that's just annoying.  I'll do the free trial year but from what I have seen so far, I wouldn't pay $49 a yr

if anyone is loving it and has advice, I'd love to hear it. The home medical equipment prices are pretty good

if you like almond,s they are dirt cheap, unless I'm not understanding the terms. Search Blue Diamond almonds, the flavored ones are $2+ and the the money going back into your Jet cart is $2+, making them almost free.  How can this be right?

Last time I checked Jet I wasn't impressed but this time I was.  Due to many food allergies, my family eats a lot of Pacific Soup for lunch.  We also eat a lot of Kind Bars.  I ordered 30 soups, 48 kind bars and 24 packs of gum that my husband chews like an addict for $120.  I price compared to my grocery store where we normally buy it and the price there would have been $204.54.

I just went through the entire cart experience.  Interesting that they give you savings back (not much but something) if you waive the free return for each item.  They also give you a .25% discount for using a visa credit card.

Jet Cash looks interesting too.  I'll be sure to check that portal out before booking a flight as it looks like you get 2.5% jet cash back if you click through to southwest or United.

I feel like I need to write some kind of algorithm to shop at this place.

I like the process on some things but this not being able to tell you your prices until ready to checkout is BS.  They had a daily ad for Tide, stating up to 20% off, well it was the same old price and the bubble that tells you how much you get off in you cart was nowhere near 20% off.  Then it sort of, maybe said if you buy these 5 other related item, you maybe, but who knows, you might save 20% offer your whole cart.  i did all that and saved nothing on the rest of my cart.  I think it's a PITA now, that has the potential to be great. I wrote an email (because no live chat, of course) saying how the Tide email was totally misleading and saved me nothing and wasted tons of time.  They wrote back about their wonderful algorithms and made it sound like I just cannot understand.  BS, familiar with algorithms but also savvy at getting low web prices.  Jet may save me a ton but it takes hours tinkering with your cart (the savings bubbles don't even show up in the cart, you have to look at the actual item to see what you saved).  PITA, forget all the nonsense, get close to same prices at Amazon and BJs. I am giving this stupid cart one more shot because I wasted enough time already and am determined to save over Amazon and BJs.  If it's a FAIL today, forget it.  Great potential, horrible set up.  And saving 7 whole cents because I accept no returns is insulting. The guy who emailed me back that it was stuff like that that kept him from figuring out my savings.  Really?  I can maybe save 20% off my entire cart but we need to wait to see if I choose to save 7 cents? More BS

Made a $20 order on 8/19 using the $10 off code.

Order shipped next day (8/20).

Checked status today and the order just hit my state (California).  It shipped from New Jersey.

Amazon ships from L.A. and it's here next day (or often same day).

I wouldnt use it again unless they gave me another $10+ off.

That's interesting.  I ordered on a Thursday afternoon.  I called the company because I was going to be out of town over the weekend and I didn't want it coming before Monday.  They said it would be fine because they count business days only. It ended up arriving on Saturday morning according to my pet sitter, less than 48 hours after I ordered.

From where did it ship and where are you?
