Looking for recommendations for an insulated lunch box.
« on: April 12, 2025, 10:08:18 AM »
Hi savvy peeps! I'm in the market for a good lunch box to bring with me to work. I do not have access to a fridge (ironic because I work in a restaurant, alas, health code) so I need it to be able to stay pretty well chilled for about 8 hours. Also, my workplace gets especially hot since it is a kitchen in Florida, so insulation is key here.

Ideally, it would be somewhat compact, I just need enough space for something like a salad and a few extra nibbles. I am prepared to spend up to around $100 if needed. I would like to stay away from anything with large branding (yeti, for example) if possible since there is always the possibility of theft due to where we have to keep our personal items.

TIA for any ideas!

A small Rubbermaid personal cooler. We have one that is really for a large lunch, which we use when traveling.
