Title: Large savings account recommendation
Post by: crowinghen on May 28, 2021, 08:41:43 AM
Any recommendations for savings account? Not Marcus ( hate them) or Capitalone ( like them, but already have an account with them). We are in the  fortunate position to have more than the FDIC covered amount  of cash and would like to open a new account to make sure we are under the  500k limit.
Thank you!

Do you a savings account or would a checking account work?

Schwab has a $500 bonus and it's a really good account to have for travel (worldwide ATM fees are reimbursed). You need a referral link but that's easy enough.

Citi has a checking/savings option with a $1500 bonus. Nothing special about it. It's just a standard account.

I like Yotta. I've been winning more (check it out) than I ever got in interest at my old bank.
