Thanks Gringo.    Duolingo is cool, too.  Plus I get Rosetta Stone for free from my employer. ;)

I'm a lingq user and recommend it. It's one of the things I pay for because I believe in supporting it, even though you can access all the transcripts and audio with a free account. I've found Duolingo and similar sources to be useful in terms of providing a more concrete sense of progress (usually by focusing on individual words), but not as useful in actually doing what I want to do in a language, which is read and understand real content. Steve Kaufmann, founder of Lingq, has a fantastic YouTube channel that has really changed how I view language learning and much of education in general. Highly recommended https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCez-2shYlHQY3LfILBuDYqQ

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
