Internet Security and Geo-hiding products

Was wonder what you guys used to keep your access protected and limit prying into your location, etc.

I don’t need to go gorilla—no burner phones—but I want to step it up a good bit.

VPN? Password Protector? Rogue browser? Ad Blocker?

* Using Apple environment: iPhone, pads, Mac

yes (required by employer)
yes (only way I can remember 100+ distinctly unique passwords with various requirements for case, numbers, symbols and length)
no (isn't this a bad thing to have on your computer??)
yes (how else do people tolerate most websites??)

I do favor browsers that [supposedly] do a smidge more to protect my search history, and our work uses E2EE email.  Pretty sure Slack isn't very secure, so I make it a policy to never put anything on Slack I'd be embarrassed to have others discover (treat it like a conversation in a crowded restaurant).

Mullvad was recommended to me as a good VPN that will provide some privacy.  Works great.  I need to find a good firewall also.  More VPN recommendations through Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/vpnnetwork/comments/11i0huy/best_vpn_according_to_reddit_community_in_2023/

I've been using Nord VPN for years (started mostly because I wanted to watch British cycling coverage :P  )  and it works pretty great for not very much money.
