Has anyone read How To Engineer Your Layoff by Financial Samurai? I saw a few threads discussing the general concept, but very little information around the ebook itself.
I am considering FIRE'ing between 15 and 22 months from now and I am wondering if any of the information in the book would be applicable to me. The industry I'm working in is thriving, which makes me somewhat skeptical that I would be able to sign myself up for the next layoff round at my company, since I don't expect a layoff round to take place in the timeframe that I am looking at.
For those who have read the book, would you recommend it?
