YouTube - Top 10 Celebrities that went broke (675k views, 3/6/15):  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eh3TgZ_V_S8

I'll add a little commentary, but it's meaningless.  These people had millions, had talents that were paying millions and would easily make many more millions, and came right back down to more than they could pay.  Wesley Snipes especially hurts, I mean, how can you not know that making millions of dollars requires paying federal taxes?  I know this and I only make a small fraction of a million....

Maybe he'll fall back on making "Blade 4 - Cutting Through Debt" ;-)

I agree with your assessment. I think Hollywood is a bubble that insulates people from reality in ways that aren't healthy. While this is certainly unfortunate, I can't say I'm surprised.

I haven't been able to watch this yet, but I plan to.  It is an interesting situation for these people.  Ignorance, trusting the wrong people, just making dumb choices all play into it.  Thats one thing that fascinated me about the show Entourage.  He would make a 3 million dollar payday and it would all be spent before he cashed the check.  Which if people are really living that way (they do) on high incomes, I could easily see how they end up broke when the faucet shuts off.

Another interesting one is 30for30: Broke, highlighting sports professional who blew through all of their money.  I really wanted to like this show, as it had such great potential, but it is so fucking ADD and never really concludes anything.  Albeit, still interesting.
