Great Mustachian Food Blog: Plant Based Diet on a Budget
« on: November 22, 2013, 07:28:03 PM »
I wanted to share a great food blog that I came across today that I think a lot of Mustachians would appreciate - especially if you are vegetarian, trying to reduce the amount of meat you eat, and/or trying to create a healthy diet on a budget without using a lot of processed foods.

http://plantbasedonabudget.com/

A lot of great recipes - and they recently started a "Budget Challenge", where the authors came up with weekly menus for under $25 per person. And each of these menus are developed specifically for one person, two people, or four person families.

Check it out - but don't do what I did and check it out while you are hungry.

Thanks for sharing.  The website is awesome.  I only eat fish like 1-2 times a month and no other meat.
Budget Bytes is a good one too.  She does meat dishes as well but has vegetarian too!!! :)

Thanks for this recommendation, will take a look at it. I'm trying to eat less meat (think I eat too much already) and so good recipes will help.

Thank you for sharing this, I am super psyched to see a no-egg recipe for black bean burgers.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
