I've been reading a few posts on here about financial management about index funds, HSAs, etc and was wondering if anyone here had a good book recommendation that encompasses these concepts and outlines good financial plans?  I've read a few books on stocks, but I have yet to read a book on general financial management that outlines good financial plans and covers the the basics of financial management (HSAs, index funds, IRAs, bonds, metals, etc).  Any recommendations?

Thanks, I appreciate it!  Definitely going to order that book!  Any additional books anyone have in mind?  Just going to order a few books this month to get a few perspectives from a variety of authors

You'll get a lot of people recommending The Simple Path to Wealth. Another +1 from me, too. It's a great book and captures the core MMM investing strategies. It's wonderful.

The same info is also available on JL Collin's website.

Okay, now I'm really excited to get the book.  Thank you for the input and for referencing JL Collin's website.  I checked out the website and it seems to be chocked full of great information.  Thanks!

The Four Pillars of Investing by   William Bernstein, Ph.D. M.D.  is a dandy. Everything you need, and nothing you don't.

Kind regards,

While you're waiting for your book(s) to arrive, why not listen to some podcasts too? Great for commuting, jogging, or distracting from insomnia.

The Mad Fientist's podcast is terrific and will give you a crash course on the most prominent personalities in the FI world. Like MMM and JL Collins, Mad Fientist's website is a phenomenal source of information. He discovers and explains tax strategies/ loopholes that would take a less-than-brilliant mind like my own a lifetime or two to figure out on my own :)

Choose FI and Paula Pant's Afford Anything are favorites of mine too.
