Last weekend I took the free course offered by the city of Sydney on safe cycling in the city.
http://sydneycycleways.net/Very nice of the city to offer this course, they also showed us some nice routes I hadn't tried before. For youngsters they also provide balance bikes and instructors on their model streets in Sydney park, so makes for a great outing and somewhere safe for the kids to learn bike skills.
