Just curious. In an effort to save money, I called Verizon to see if I could talk down my cable/internet/phone bill and really didn't get anywhere. Billshark's pitch (www.billshark.com) is that they'll call and do it for you in exchange for part of the money they save you -- if they can't cut your bill, no fee. I'm inclined to give them a shot, since any savings would essentially be found money. But I'm curious if anyone else has used them, and, if so, what your experience was like?

I haven't heard of this, but I am curious to see how it works for you if you decide to do this. Calling customer support and asking for a cheaper rate is such a terrible experience that I don't do it as often as I should.

No experience, but googling "billshark review" gets all kinds of hits.
I didn't know that this sort of service existed.

It seems service is the booming industry now.
Uber driving service
home cleaning, lawn and decorating services (they've been around a while)
meal and grocery delivery services
dog walking, clean yard of dog waste
junk removal
baby proofing
Install, take-down holiday decorating

Lots of options for side-gigs or part time self-employment for semi-retirement!

Well, it didn't work -- or at least Billshark couldn't get me a better rate on Fios. But I went ahead and submitted my electrical bill, which they suggested, so we'll see if I have any better luck there.
