14" inch bikes?
« on: April 25, 2016, 07:27:28 PM »
My almost-four-year-old is currently riding a 12-inch pedal bike that I bought him at Goodwill. Because he is small for his age (3'1", or 25th percentile), I do not expect that it will last him until he is big enough for a 16 inch bike, and am thinking of getting him a "nice" used 14" bike.

Any brand suggestions for 14"? The idea is to set up a Craigslist alert for a good brand, but I know that some of the best brands (like Specialized Hotrocks) do not come in that size.

The website two wheeling tots has the most extensive lists and reviews. I had no idea there were so many options in tiny kid bikes. :)

Indeed! For some reason I thought they recommended a bunch of stuff not available in the US, but I see now that's not really the case.

Looks like we're moving to Arizona after the school year, so I'll probably wait till we get there.
