Yeah, every day this week when I get up in the morning I think "a mental health day would be really nice today."

Then I remind myself that I have no PTO left and in 13 weeks I'll get as many mental health days as my little heart desires...

Good luck!  No sick days left? Even a few without pay could make a huge difference in your attitude.

No, I lost my PTO other than vacation when I dropped down to part time. I have just enough left for my trip to Ecuador in a few weeks.

If I'm sick, I have to make up the time. And I do not want to give up my Fridays off, lol. I'll just have to push through...

I am starting to have a lot of "this is the last time I will do this, yay!" moments, lol

I'm digging semi retirement four weeks into it.  My work is such that they just give me special projects to take care of, kind of doing the oddball things nobody else has the time for.   Have been going in early about 3-4 days per week, working till lunch time, then going home.    Man, I am getting all kinds of projects done around the place with all of this spare time, been fishing, hunting, chores and projects around the home and farm, doing extended weekend trips, etc.  Taking quite a bit of time off in Nov & Dec for hunting trips, then I'll just put in more work hours later.   There will be times of the year I work quite a bit, and times I loaf quite a bit.

I'm going to stay with this plan for a couple years, so long as the boss remains happy with what he's getting.
