Post-fire challenges article
« on: June 06, 2021, 07:02:04 AM »
https://livingafi.com/2021/03/17/the-2021-early-retirement-update/

This was linked in the choosefi fb group. I found it very interesting and I enjoy reading blogs that aren’t all unicorns and roses.

It also forces introspection. Even though I’ve been FI for a while, I enjoy my job and don’t see RE until I’d receive my full pension. Partly it’s enjoying my job, partly it’s FOMO/golden handcuffs. Also coming to terms with my personality type.

Hope you enjoy it, as well.

Not sure how I didn't come across that article when he wrote it (Dr. Doom) but glad I did now. Was very good and one of the few articles of late I didn't just skim through. Being Fire'd for over 6 years now, I can understand some of the things he was feeling and agree that once his partner crossed that line it was over. Just glad he is doing well now.
