Title: Last day at work
Post by: chevy1956 on September 24, 2020, 08:01:01 PM
Hi Everyone,

It's my last day at work today for at least a long while. I have 14 months off. We are probably safe financially but maybe I will work in the future for safety/buffer reasons or because I want to spend some more money or just because I like my work.

This community and MMM in general have been great for me.

I should add I'm 47 and my wife is 44. My wife has been off since COVID struck. We checked our expenses and we are currently at approximately a 4.6% WR.

Anyway - thanks for all the great advice.

Congratulations! Hope to be where you are when I hit around your age (only 2 years to go!)

Everyone has been asking me this one at work. I have no idea at the moment.

Congratulations! Welcome to freedom! My advice is to give yourself about six months to sleep and shake off the work stress. Then experiment to find your passions.
