Plans?
I won't be working in the forsee able future. We are uber savers and have a 33x 'stache. My wife will continue working until January. We have an annuitized \minimal income to get us through downturns.
I've been working long hours for so long that I've lost balances for other facets of life. I'll spend some time in R&R, and tackle the DIY jobs to make my home more livable. EspecialIy landscaping. I enjoy DIY, gardening, and nature, so they aren't apart from each other. I signed up for a sculpture class. I hope to end up with some outdoor sculptures. Lifelong learning is one of my core values.
I will be looking into building an earthbag shed. Minimalist materials for affordable housing is an interest that i'm passionate about. A tiny house that is tornado, earthquake, fire, hail and even bullet proof is what I want to explore making in small scale. I've always admired the craftsman style and ethic. This is a natural evolution for me.
I'll also be spending some time in social building. I need to find ways to fill that as it's my largest neglect. I don't want to be a recluse. I will be honing pizza making and grilling/cooking skills. Back yard tailgating and picnics is my plan.
When I was practicing martial arts, I was much more fit. Rebuilding that fitness level is a goal, as well as losing a few pounds. I'd better work out or i'll be cooking but not eating.
I restarted classical guitar playing, kayaking, hiking, and started bubble making. Renovating indoors will be my winter projects. Fishing and biking will have to wait until next year.
