House swaps
« on: March 14, 2017, 06:16:26 AM »
I was wondering if anyone has done a house swap.  Seems like a way to see a foreign land on the cheap.

We exchanged our apartment in NYC with a family's apartment in Barcelona.  Worked out really great, their son picked us up at the airport.

How did you find the swap?  Any advice or info on how to go about this would be very helpful.
Thanks!

We've done 15+ swaps both domestic and international. Never had a bad experience. Always stay in places WAY nicer than we ever would if we were paying cash.

There are websites that help people arrange house swaps.  Plus there are others that arrange for people to stay in the house while it's vacant.  (Might have to take care of pets or the yard.)   Google away!
